Counterfeit Cascade Disability Management checks drawn on the Bank of Montreal in Canada are being used in attempted lottery / drawing fraud. The fraud attempts to gather information from potential victims by having them call a number traced to Ontario, Canada.
This is a common scam and the check is counterfeit.
Do not deposit it and under no circumstances should you send any money to the person(s) who mailed you the counterfeit check.
