.................................................................................
Temporary Transitional Employment involves placing an injured worker into a temporary work environment that helps them learn new job skills, regain self-confidence, and obtain current work references that eventually evolve into return to permanent employment at a wage greater than what would be available without the new skills sets.
This approach has demonstrated success when an injured worker has limited skills, education, and work experience or has limited opportunities within their geography.
Cascade Disability Management has established a broad network of private and non-profit organizations to facilitate placement into transitional programs.
Cascade’s Vocational Experts will:
-
Conduct an assessment of the injured worker.
-
Appropriate secure range of Temporary Transitional Employment opportunities through our network of private and non-profit partners.
-
Complete an on-site Job Analysis and work to secure a medical release for the position.
-
Monitor compliance during the program and benchmark progress toward vocational goals.
-
Conduct permanent Job Placement following the temporary opportunity.
